Nova Scotia Environmental Network is hosting a webinar "Localized Climate Projections for Nova Scotia" with Nova Scotia Climate Service Specialist, Alex Cadel.

Alex works in a shared role between the Department of Environment & Climate Change and CLIMAtlantic, the new regional climate services hub for Atlantic Canada. His work involves supporting Nova Scotians from all sectors in accessing, understanding, and applying information about climate change to their adaptation decision-making. Alex holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph and a Master of Climate Change from the University of Waterloo, along with a variety of professional experience that includes downscaling climate projections for municipalities, climate adaptation planning in the forestry sector, and managing climate change projects with the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq.
