Comment Period on the Draft Agreements and Draft Terms of Reference
The Draft Agreements and Draft Terms of Reference for the Regional Assessment of Offshore Wind Development in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia have been released for public review and comment.
The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada is inviting the public and Indigenous groups to comment on the draft Agreement with Newfoundland and Labrador, the draft Agreement with Nova Scotia and the draft Regional Assessment Terms of Reference for the project. Comments should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on November 26, 2022.

The Regional Assessment is being conducted by two separate Committees (one in Nova Scotia and one in Newfoundland and Labrador), both of which will work under “mirrored” Terms of Reference.
