Our Work

COINAtlantic's Geospatial Tools

COINAtlantic is proud to have been on the cutting edge of developing open source geospatial tools.

COINAtlantic collaborated with Gateway Geomatics, to develop open source geospatial tool, the COINAtlantic Geocontent Generator (CGG), that allowed users to create and publish their own geospatial information (points, lines, and polygons). These files were findable on Google and the COINAtlantic Search Utility (CSU), which allowed users to discover and access other types of geospatial information, combine data layers, and create custom shareable maps.

COINAtlantic Geocontent Generator (CGG)

This tool gave users the ability to create and publish their own geospatial information (points, lines, and polygons).

COINAtlantic Search Utility (CSU)

This tool gave users the ability to discover and access geospatial information and create their own maps with multiple data layers.

Sydney Harbour Atlas

The Atlas displayed multiple spatial data layers relevant to an urbanized coastal ecosystem.

The CGG and CSU are currently offline. Contact us if you are interested in learning more about these tools.
