VITALITY is a collaboration to develop new, applicable data streams for private sector companies, indigenous organizations, and anyone who participates in or contributes to Canada’s blue economy.
Through linkages with the Canadian Integrated Ocean Observing System (CIOOS), and through a collaboration of 10 partners across Canada, VITALITY will capitalize on Canada's ocean data to:
Facilitate discovery and sharing of restricted data to enhance collaboration and create exciting new opportunities for growth in Canada’s blue economy.
Support the resolution of near-term labour, skill and capability by developing much needed training programs that assist people in contributing to and using ocean data in Canada.
